Stray Thoughts on Indian Cricket is the first major historical work on Indian cricket. It was published in 1905 and covers half a century of cricket played prior to that time. In variably the Parsee were the pioneers and their contributions have been documented in a fitting manner. The equal role of the Gymkhanas in Bombay played in the development of the game is well recorded. This is a reprint published in 2014.
